  • Digital signature and rights management  added to Transcript Ordering options

2009

  • Transcript Ordering delivery options expanded to include electronic transcript PDF delivery
  • Number of records in Clearinghouse database grows to more than 100 million
  • Number of participating schools passes 3,300; 
  • Clearinghouse creates its secondary education research initiative, funded in part from a major grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The initiative will provide the first national secondary education research and reporting system.
  • Clearinghouse participation increases to 92% enrollment

2008

  • Clearinghouse celebrates its 15th year of service to the education and student lending communities
  • Transition of DegreeChk™ institutions to DegreeVerify successfully completed. More than 3.6 million degrees added to the Clearinghouse database. Total participation exceeds 75% of US degrees.
  • Electronic Transcript Exchange service launched
  • Number of participating colleges passes 3,200
  • 500th Student Self-Service school milestone reached
  • Clearinghouse names new president, Ricardo D. Torres
