David Myette Joins National Student Clearinghouse Board Of Directors
HERNDON, VA, October 25, 2004 - The National Student Clearinghouse,
the nation's trusted source for post-secondary degree and enrollment
verification, today announced that David Myette has joined its board of
directors. Mr. Myette, who was recommended by the National Association of
Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), will fill the board's vacant
educational institution seat. His three-year term begins January 2005.
Mr. Myette has nearly 35 years of experience in higher education and
student financial aid. He has been the director of financial aid at
Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, since 1980. Mr. Myette has held
numerous offices in several professional organizations, including the
presidency of both the Vermont Association of Student Financial Aid
Administrators (VASFAA) and the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid
Administrators (EASFAA). In 2003-2004, he served as the national chairman of
NASFAA. Mr. Myette's outstanding contributions to the financial aid
profession have been recognized by his peers through numerous national and
regional service awards.
