David Lynch Named Regional Director of the Northeast U.S. at the
National Student ClearinghouseŽ
Herndon, VA, June 10, 2010 - The National Student Clearinghouse has
appointed David Lynch as its regional director of the Northeast United
States. The Clearinghouse, a non-profit organization, is the nation's
trusted source for degree and enrollment information and provides reporting,
verification, and research services for more than 3,300 colleges and
universities. Mr. Lynch began his appointment March 24, 2010.
As the regional director of the Northeast, Mr. Lynch reports to Cameron
Howell, assistant vice president of Higher Education Development, and
handles Clearinghouse relationships with colleges, universities, and high
schools in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New
York, Rhode Island, and Vermont, as well as the Virgin Islands. "I
welcome David to the Clearinghouse with great enthusiasm. His understanding
of the higher education finance community is unparalleled," said
Howell. "I am confident that the Clearinghouse will learn quickly from
David's extensive knowledge of higher education."

Mr. Lynch has more than 20 years' experience in client relationship
management and higher education finance. Before joining the Clearinghouse,
he was the vice president of External Relations at Graduate Leverage, LLC.
He also served as a senior vice president at Academic Finance Corporation.
Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a director at Access Group, Inc. He has
a B.S. in English from the University of South Florida.

The National Student Clearinghouse (a non-profit formed in 1993) is the
unique and trusted source for higher education enrollment and degree
verifications. The Clearinghouse serves as a single point of contact for the
collection and timely exchange of accurate and comprehensive enrollment, degree
and certificate records on behalf of its more than 3,300 participating higher
education institutions, which represent 96% of all students in public and

higher education institutions cumulatively nearly four hundred million dollars

at little or no charge, including enhanced transcript and research services,
enabling institutions to redistribute limited staff and budget resources to more
important student service efforts. All Clearinghouse services are operated in
full compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
(FERPA).
In addition, the Clearinghouse provides accurate, FERPA compliant
verifications to student loan providers, employers, student credit issuers, the
U.S. Department of Education, and others who access its registry more than half
a billion times annually.
